Torrequebrada Golf Course (18 hole – Par 72)
Designed in the 1970s by Pepe Gancedo, Torrequebrada has flourished and is highly popular and a delight to play. The course has lakes and mature semi-tropical vegetation, and offers superb views of the sea. The 11th hole is one of the most testing on the course, a 164-metre par-3. Your tee shot has to take into account water at the front of the green, and bunkers surrounding it, and then the green itself is on two levels. The 1979 Spanish Open was held here.
Lisbon Golf (9 hole & School)
Benalmádena Golf comprises a nine-hole par-3 course and a golf school. Its amenities include a practice ground with 48 tee areas complete with night-time illumination and a spectacular clubhouse with bar, restaurant, shop and dressing rooms. The course’s emblematic hole is the eighth. As well as superb sea views, the hole is also bordered to the east by a stunning waterfall that leads to a narrow but extended green defended by two bunkers on the western side.
Bil Bil Golf – Pitch & Putt
Bil Bil Golf is an 18-hole pitch and putt course with holes ranging from 43 to 120 metres, offering a wide variety of shots. The first three holes feature views over the sea, while the fourth and fifth require good shots to clear the lake. A river meanders through the holes in the central part of the layout, and the 18th green has an island green surrounded by a bunker. The course is a challenging one for testing your short game.
